BUS was formed through a Thai survival reality show called 789 SURVIVAL, which aired from May 26 to August 11, 2023. Originally, the plan was to debut a group of 7 to 9 members, but due to the overwhelming talent and fan support, all 12 finalists were chosen to debut together
On November 8, 2023, the group name BUS — Because of yoU I Shine — was officially announced. Their debut showcase was held on December 6, 2023, at Parc Paragon in Bangkok, where they performed their debut single “Because of You, I Shine”
